MDAD, Inc. would like to announce a new service to other design and construction professionals. We have in-house large format printing capabilities that goes under utilized many times. As a courtesy to fellow design & construction professionals, and to give my teenage daughter a partime job ;) , we are offering to handle your printing needs at what we feel may be the best price for your budgets. For ArchD (24"x36") even with a little color in the title block, the cost per page is $2.75, ArchC (18"x24") would be $1.75 per page, and ANSI A (11"x17") would be $1.00 per page. We will print, bind, and ship to you or directly to your client. You will pay shipping and handling, but we will not place a mark-up on that service, it cost what it costs and no more. The page sizes listed are what we keep in stock, if you need something else, I will work it out with my vendor and make sure you get the best price going.
Black and white prints, we have found, can be very affordable, but if you like to put a splash of color in the title block, a rendering on the cover, or color somewhere else, in my area those pages can be up to $10 per page (24"x36"), and we could not afford that. So we invested in the equipment to handle all of that in house, and now will offer the savings we have to others.
The process is pretty painless. Just email the plan file in PDF format to us at printing@martindraftinganddesign.com with instructions on size, number of sets, and where to ship to. I can tell you from our business experience, we can ship plans just about anywhere from here in Indiana, using FedEx ground for less than $25.00, so that may help you determine if using our service is a better value than local. We will print the sets, pack them up, and set up the shipping. We will invoice you via PayPal (you don't have to be a member to use PayPal) for everything that is due. Depending on the size of the job, turnaround is a matter of a few days from reciept of email, to shipping.
